We are two dutch potters from Amsterdam. From our home studio we make a diverse range of handmade ceramics, only stoneware. Our work is made of different types of clay and glazed with a range types of glazes we have developed on our own during the years. Sometimes we offer Raku fired pieces.
We like ‘simple’ clear shapes and forms in our stoneware and also in the colours of the glazes. The texture or surface is usually smooth. The clay is first bisque fired and later a glaze is put on; the ceramics is then baked at 1200 to 1220 degrees Celsius. It’s therefore quite tough, durable, foodsafe and dishwasher proof.
When browsing through our website, you get a sense of what we make. And if you like what you see, give it a go and place an order! Although we strive to make twins, we usually end up with a real strong family resemblance which gives each piece their own character.
